Amenities and Picnic Shelters

See-Saw

The public amenity block designed for the Bungarribee Precinct in the Western Sydney Parklands is cleverly disguised and almost vanishes into nature. The polished stainless steel surface reflects the park, concealing the building and giving the sense of an unobstructed view. This discreet amenity block reduces the visual impact on the park, whilst simultaneously offering comfort and privacy. The roof line, inspired by the notion of a see saw, is angled in such a way that it allows for ample natural light and ventilation.
