Masterplan Design French School Campus ANZAC Parade Maroubra, NSW

Condorcet Conducted

Being a campus that has been developed over an extended period of time and the subject of a sub-division that significantly limits opportunities for expansion and outdoor recreational areas, the School lacks a strategy for the site’s overall organisation. The entrance to the School and internal circulation is not clearly defined. The three different educational tiers of Maternelle, Elementary and Secondary are not adequately zoned and separated. External playgrounds for each educational tier are limited due to the site constraints and are not allocated well to each tier.

The “Vision 2020” Infrastructure Master Plan is to present a preferred master plan option for the realisation that consolidates the existing school infrastructure, proposes strategic new construction, caters for proposed growth and re-organises the zoning of the site in relation to the three major educational 8tiers: Maternelle (3 to 5 years old), Elementary (6 to 10 years old) and Secondary (11 to 18 years old). The master plan is supported by specialist consultant advise in relation to BCA requirements, Local Council Controls, site infrastructure mapping and a thorough analysis of the state of the existing building infrastructure.
