The directors lead a creative design studio that is highly skilled in design and building technologies and experienced in building delivery. Design solutions strive to exceed the client’s expectations. The practice provides innovative architectural, urban design and interior design services that are tailored to the opportunities and constraints of the brief and budget.

Creative solutions are sought for opportunities and challenges in the built environment, motivated by the desire to provide sensitive and stimulating environments that articulate and facilitate all aspects of human endeavour and encounter; “people meet in architecture” to quote the theme of the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale directed by Japanese architect, Kazuyo Sejima. This theme succinctly expresses what is at the heart of architecture and urban design; people are at the core of our efforts.

Sustainability is included in all projects from the beginning to ensure an integrated and cost-effective outcome for the architectural solution. The focus on sustainable design as a core element of our design process brings significant benefit to clients and the greater good. Projects are not produced in a particular style; each project generates its own outcome as a result of client brief, community and stakeholder consultation, site, budget, environmental measures and creative input resulting in a unique piece of architecture each time. Each commission presents an opportunity to explore design ideas that produces urban design and architecture of delight and intellectual rigour for both clients and users. Environment, landscape and building are viewed as one in seamless integration.
