Saigon Apartments

Cut-out

A multi-storey residential development in a developing area of inner Ho Chi Minh City had the challenge of an awkward site with an irregular boundary.

The width of the narrow site was too deep for a single apartment and too narrow for two.

Taking the ideal apartment depth of 15 meters as a constraint, the apartments were effectively subtracted from the mass of the site area. An irregular-shaped block of five wings was created, ensuring aspect and amenity were provided to every apartment.
